If you haven’t heard about Ming-Hui Yu, maybe it’s time you did.
Does he look like a nerdy 24-year-old statistics grad student at New York’s Columbia University?
Does he look like a victim?
He was struck and killed by a Jeep last week in New York when he was forced into traffic after being harassed by a some teenage thugs. The New York Post reported that he was punched while another teenager was on the lookout. Robbery doesn’t appear to be the motive. One of the teens has been arrested and charged with manslaughter. But reports say one teenager bragged, “Look what I do to this one.”
If it were a gang of Asians ganging up on black teenagers, and someone DIED, we’d no doubt see Al Sharpton pontificating somewhere on the media looking for justice, and perhaps even leading pro-Tibet rallies in recent days.
But no one is crying for Ming-Hui Yu.
And we all should.
